The Silent King

I waited for a roar. He gave me silence and somehow, that felt louder.

I thought I found him. But in that moment… I knew he had already found me.

I was chasing a frame. He was standing still like time

never touched him.

I came looking for power.

But they showed me something else; that even the wild knows how to be gentle.

It looked straight at me. No fear, no warning ; just a silence that asked me not to move.

I looked up at him. And for a second… the world felt quieter.

I forgot to breathe. Because sometimes…
silence is a warning.

He lowered his guard to drink. But even then…
he never stopped being a king.

He looked at me once. And somehow…
I felt completely understood.
